This battery has about 15 minutes max in it. I love the cordless leaf blower that it powers; but I need 2 batteries to blow off my stoops, patio and pool deck. Charge time is slow, too. Fix that and B&D's outdoor products will be 5-star.
This is a great battery; with it I can now trim the entire length of my hedge without having to wait for a recharge. When I purchased my Black & Decker hedge trimmer, it came with only one battery - no enough to complete my long hedges in a single session. The battery slides into and out of both the tool and the charging station with absolutely no effort - a very important factor for me since I have arthritis in my hands. I'd checked in Home Depot for a back-up battery and learned they were not available except with a particular tool. Then I found this Black & Decker battery online through Amazon - the exact same battery as that which came with the trimmer, and couldn't wait for it to arrive. I highly recommend it. The price was great as well.
I have 2 of these already so assume all is well. No problems getting here.
I charged the battery for well over 24 hrs. Don't ask me why. hooked to the leaf blower and it run out of juice within 7or 8 mins. very unhappy because i bought 2 batteries but only returned 1. now i'am stuck can you do anything about the other battery. 18-volt cordless powertool #hpb18-opeThanks Philip Michaels
Looking at the other reviews, you either get a good battery that will last or one that won't go beyond a few charge cycles. I have to say my batteries did not last very long and no longer hold a charge. I'm back to using my plug-in weed-eater and leaf blower.
